First differential with low myopia and astigmatism in one eye

Need some help in my differential. I got my first differential. I have astigmatism in both eyes which I kept the same in these differential. It allows my left eye to read at edge of blur at arms length. My right eye, however, is at zero D; at arms length it is still clear. I’m thinking whether to:-
a) reduce some of the astigmatism or
b) keep the astigmatism diopter as it is but do a plus sph diopter

Sorry if it’s covered already somewhere else but I couldn’t find any. I read that one musn’t reduce both sph and cyl at the same time (for first differential, anyway). I also read that if the eye is low myopia, then we can go straight to reducing astigmatism but I think that’s for normalised.

Many thanks.
