Ideas to reduce peripheral hyperopic defocus in everyday life?

As I understand it, peripheral hyperopic defocus is a fact of life with stronger minus lenses, and has nothing to do with how well or not well accommodation works; it’s an optical property of the minus lens due to its shape.

I guess normalized lenses help to decrease it compared to full strength lenses, but as I understand it, it’s still present.

I’d love to hear any tips people have for visual hygiene to help minimize this effect in everyday life.
