Things appear smaller in one eye

Hi,. I have found that things appear smaller in my right dominant eye. Is this a problem? Is there a way to correct it?

Aniseikonia is the technical name for that. Does this happen only while you’re wearing glasses? If you have a different prescription in each eye it can be lens induced, and is sometimes caused from the distance from your eye to each lens, (and from what I’ve read) switching to contacts often solves that problem. In general it’s not a big deal unless there’s a big difference in image size that bothers you. If you can get the same prescription in front of each eye it will probably help going forward, because otherwise the glasses are acting like a magnifying glass and presenting different sized images to you.
