Lots of good explanations and ideas for binocular vision issues are in the video linked below. [Anyone know where the narrator is from? I assume it’s an Indian accent but I’m not sure what kind.]
Trying the red green bars and flippers on myself, I find I’ve been suppressing one or the other eye at near often without realizing it. It may be one of these things you never know about yourself unless you investigate it for yourself (assuming that you don’t have obvious vision problems that someone else would notice and diagnose for you.)
I think I probably look at the screen with one eye at a time, suppress the other eye, and reduce convergence that way (maybe?) I’ve probably been doing it wrong my whole life.
